Ladies, we know some of you want time to rest – physically, emotionally, and spiritually.  We have just delivered our 2024 retreat at Whananaki over the weekend of 1st to 3rd November. The location and residence was beautiful, offering a tranquil space to truly escape the pace of everyday life, and get the head space back to relax and rejuvenate.  Transport was be arranged, the meals fully catered for and attendees truly pampered.  You can view the photo's of the event in our Gallery. https://www.breastcancernorthland.co.nz/About-Us/Gallery

The event is held annually, is free to attend but attendees can only go once.

Mid Winter Xmas lunch Sunday 4th August 2024

Nearly 100 guests came and enjoy a complimentary meal  at this year’s mid-winter Christmas dinner.  Held on Sunday 4th August, from 11am to 2pm at the Whangarei Cruising Club rooms, Kissing Point, Riverside Drive, Whangarei.   We served a beautiful hot meal, and the bar was available to purchase refreshments.

Like always we had fun and took part in a Secret Santa gift exchange.  Attendees bought along a small wrapped gift valued at $5 - $10 to pop into Santa's Xmas sack.

We had a guest speaker Dee from Whangarei District Hospital who talked about the creation of the new Radiation Unit.  And every bought some change so they could can take part in the raffle which raised much needed funds for our Trust, however this time the much desired Homemade Christmas cake wasn't grabbed by the first lucky winner!
